DOING AND SHARING WORK: FLIPGRID - INSTAGRAM FOR KIDS

Flipgrid is another resourced heavily used during Northshore’s e-learning period. It allows kids to record video and post for classmates/teachers to see. The good news for parents is that Flipgrid seems to consider parents educators as well so there’s nothing stopping you from creating your own “Grid”. There’s plenty of detail here in their family learning blog post, but the basics are that you can click the Educator Signup and host your own. There seem to be considerations regarding informed consent for minors and other things, so strongly suggest each parent/facilitator do their due diligence. This isn’t legal advice!
